What you can do here

Salary & Loan Studio is for employees in the Gulf planning their money. Enter your basic pay and allowances once to see your net salary after GOSI. The End of service tab then uses that pay, either the full wage for Saudi Arabia or the basic salary for the UAE, and the Loan tab shows how much of your net salary a monthly instalment would take.

How the studio works

  1. Open Salary and enter your basic pay, housing, transport and other allowances.
  2. Switch to End of service. Your wage is already filled in, using the right base for Saudi Arabia or the UAE; add your start and end dates.
  3. Open Loan / EMI and enter the amount, rate and term. You will see the EMI and its share of your net salary.
  4. Change any number and the other tabs follow. Typing your own salary in a tab keeps it as you entered it.

FAQ

Why does the End of service tab use a different salary for the UAE?

Saudi Labour Law calculates the award on the last actual wage, meaning basic pay plus fixed allowances such as housing and transport. UAE law uses the basic salary only. The tab picks the matching figure when you switch country.

Is the salary I type saved anywhere?

No. It is shared between the tabs only while the page is open and is never stored or sent. Reload the page and it is gone.

How much of my salary can go to a loan?

Banks set their own limits. In Saudi Arabia, consumer loan instalments for salaried employees are usually capped at about a third of the salary, so the share shown in the Loan tab is a quick way to check before you apply.

Are the results exact?

They are careful estimates based on the published rules. Your employer, GOSI or bank may round differently or apply extra conditions, so treat the numbers as a guide.
