What you can do here
Arabic Text Studio is for anyone who writes, edits or pastes Arabic. Type a message in Arabizi and get Arabic letters, strip the tashkeel so search and spell-check work, swap ٠١٢ for 012 or the other way round, then check the word and character count. The text follows you from tab to tab, so you paste it only once.
How the studio works
- Paste or type your text in any tab, for example Arabizi to Arabic.
- Switch to the next tab, such as Remove tashkeel. The result of the last tab is already in the input box.
- Keep going through Digits and Word count, changing options as you like.
- Press Copy in any tab to take the text you need. For cheques and invoices, use Number to words.
FAQ
Do I have to paste my text again in every tab?
No. When you switch tabs, the output of the tab you were on is placed in the next tab's input box automatically, as long as that box is empty. A short note tells you the text was carried over.
Will removing tashkeel change the letters?
No. Only the short-vowel marks (fatha, damma, kasra, sukun, shadda, tanwin and similar) and the tatweel stretch are removed. The letters, hamza and punctuation stay exactly as they were.
Which digits should I use?
Arabic-Indic digits (٠١٢٣) are common in printed Arabic in the Gulf and Egypt, Eastern digits (۰۱۲۳) in Urdu and Persian, and Western digits (0123) in most forms, banking apps and spreadsheets. The Digits tab converts in any direction.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. All the tabs run in your browser, so private messages and documents stay on your device.
